Fiberglass Mosquito Netting is woven from permanent glass yarn which has been coated with a protective vinyl to ensure lasting beauty, colour(black, gray) and flexibility. Fiberglass is noncombustible and will not rust, corrode or stain. Lightweight and economical, it comes in several different weaves and thread diameters.
 
Fiberglass screen coated with PVC is the common used screen against insects. Because of the protective coating, it is resistant to UV, not afraid to direct sunlight, wind or rain and can be used in adverse weather conditions. Window or door screens made from fiberglass wire coated with PVC are fine barrier against insects, but can not prevent the passage of air or sun.
When necessary, you can reduce the width or length of the screen with a simple sewing scissors.
 
18x16 fiberglass Mosquito Netting - is used primarily for aluminum window screen and aluminum screen doors. It uses .11" diameter threads with 18 threads per inch vertically and 16threads per inch horizontally. Openness 59%, light transmission 69%. We use a pvc coated fiberglass, charcoal in color this allows for the best vision through your window, colored mesh obstructs the view.
